Introduction

Pro-Go Pvt Ltd. is a private company situated in Geelong, Australia, that manufactures wide quality cameras. The business is now concerned that the utility of its freestanding camera may be restricted in the coming years as video recording capability becomes featured in smartphones. As per the MBA Assignment experts, During the COVID-19 incident, where Pro-Go cams spontaneously combust, China is likely to revoke the discount program. The company's revenues have plummeted, and fast action is required to ensure the firm's survival.

Aim

The major aim of this report would be evaluating strategy planning for emergency stakeholder discussion, where concerns about privacy regulations, technical improvements, linked devices, and adjacent products or markets will be considered for camera breaching that needs to be controlled in the future.

Discussion

The general manager of the key supplier is responsible to address issues faced by businessesto enhance overall goods and services supply. According to the perspective of the general managerof key suppliers has faced issues of privacy regulation, technological breakthroughs, linked devices that need to be addressed by adopting an effective strategy. 

SWOT Analysis 

Developing a strong connection with other retailers:According to the general manager of the key supplier, with the loss of bursting cameras, the company had faced issues of losing customer interest in the brand’s products and services that directly influencedthe company’s market position (Santos-Vijande, et al., 2019). Hence, it is the responsibility of the general manager to enhance the supply of goods by retaining existing customers and attracting new ones from the target market (Merrilees, et al., 2021). 

Enhancing existing business technology and underlined innovation: The general manager thinks solo cameras must be equipped with innovative technical improvements that will aid in the firm's expansion and profits (Belanche, et al., 2021).

Fulfilling the legislative obligation: Some regulations and litigations must be followed by the firm, along with environmental parameters and rules (Steingold&Steingold, 2021). According to the perspective of the general manager, the legality of confidentiality aids in developing and sustaining the individuality of diverse persons associated with the company (Bureau, 2022).

The preferred strategy for Pro-Go Pty Ltd isbringing advancement in existing business technology and underlined innovation in its production procedure that will assist the business to improve the reliability and quality of the goods(Vargha, 2018). The corporation must develop and installed technical breakthroughs in the freestanding cameras to attract and retain customers by advance technology (Hernández-Ortega Blanca & Franco José, 2019).

The general manager assists the management of the company to improve operation speed through advancement of technology to become more productive in long run. The GM faced fails to achieved preferred option due to failure of technology that impact supply of goods.Additionally,the advancement of technology enhance sales leads in short run but general manager of key supplier can face challenges of incurring huge investment and funds in the short run.

For Go-Pro PTY Ltd, three strategy options have been produced and the SWOT study helps to understands the role of the general manager in the key supplier department. And also, how the general manager helps in the better management and operations of the company.
