Individually, you are required to prepare a Statement of Work (SOW) based on your tender for the STH BNK by Beulah project that you have prepared in the first assessment.
The purpose of this assessment is to foster students’ ability to evaluate and determine project viability, including the analysis required in the selection process. Students will also be given an opportunity to demonstrate the necessary evaluative criteria for the success of projects based on an organisation’s goals, strategy and standards.
Presume that the project stakeholders accepted your tender from Assessment 1. Now you are required to prepare the Statement of Work (SOW) submission based on the information contained in the case study and the details in the first assessment. As the STH BNK by Beulah project is a real-life case study, you are expected to complement your work with additional research on the project and its site.
Your Statement of Work submission must contain all the required elements, including an introduction, scope, location, main tasks, milestones, deliverables, schedule, standards, success criteria, requirements, budget outlines, any other relevant information, and a closing statement. Please ensure that you attend the live assessment webinar, as your subject coordinator will provide you with an SOW template that you must use in this assessment.
While this is a written analysis, you can include any tables, analysis or diagrammatical elements you deem appropriate. You will be required to use a minimum of 15 sources in your Statement of Work, 5 of which must come from academic journals or textbooks. These sources must be presented as in-text citations and a reference list adhering to the Kaplan Harvard Referencing Style. Wikipedia and other ‘popular’ sites are not to be used.
Beulah’s Sth Bnk Project is a Melbourne-based project that aims to build the tallest tower in Australia. An investment of $2 billion is made in this project and the Victorian government has approved the budget for the compassion of the project in an efficient manner. The project aims to enhance the livelihood of the urban society of Melbourne. Future generations shall be overwhelmed by the project and the project includes two skyscrapers. In this project, an area of 270,000 sqm is covered and one of the buildings consists of 102 storeys which makes the height 366 meters. As per the MBA Assignment Experts Another skyscraper of height 251 meters has 59 floors. International design and world-class innovation are done in this building, attracting many stakeholders. The project aims to provide an innovative place for the executions of Melbourne to stay and explore. The Future Melbourne 2026 Plan is followed in this project so as to build an inclusive and sustainable society (City of Melbourne, 2022). This project also follows the principle of sustainability where it follows several green strategies to reduce the amount of construction waste (Katsonis, 2019). The sustainable building will enhance Australia's economic stability as it is a highly-priced construction where each apartment shall be sold at a price of $35 million. The aim of this project is to establish living destinations for the citizens of Melbourne where they can work, stay and explore new ideas amidst the green environment. The project will include not only the skyscrapers but also retail areas, commercial offices, resort and cultural spaces, childcare facilities, and health and wellness centres. 4,700 employees will be given jobs during the construction of this project (DESIGN-BUILD NETWORK, 2020).
The purpose of the project is to provide a sustainable living area to the citizens of Australia. The project follows a sustainable mode of construction and encourages its customers to explore new ways of living amidst the green while staying in these apartments (Bocken et al., 2019). The rooms will have large windows that discourage using artificial lights and electricity while staying in these apartments. Similarly, the major purpose of the project is also to provide a luxurious lifestyle to the citizens of Melbourne. The significance of this project is its ability to encourage the citizens to experience an innovative lifestyle where they can live, work and explore (Sthbnk.com 2022). Fresh air shall be available for the residents of these apartments as the skyscrapers will have vertical gardens. The project not only aims to construct apartments but it will create a sustainable society for the upgradation of the lifestyle of Melbourne. In this world of globalization, the level of pollution is increasing and there is a need for sustainable buildings which can encourage citizens to live amidst nature. This project aims to engage in sustainable living and create a society that is based on sustainable principles. similarly, the purpose of this project is to create a living space which has all the amenities a person needs in his daily life including recreation centres, fitness spaces and retail stores.

The reporting of the project will be done on a daily basis. Every employee will report the daily activities to their respective project managers. It is the responsibility of project managers to monitor the activities and compile the daily activities of employees into a document. As a consequence, this document prepared by the project manager is the report of the progress of construction-based activities which shall be reviewed by stakeholders and will reflect the mode of transparency among employees and sponsors of the project. mode of communication will be physical settings and emails. The report will be delivered over emails regularly and physical meetings will be held once a month to keep the progress of the project. No data manipulation will be done to maintain authenticity in a project's progress. All activities will be referred to secondary qualitative data that will be gained from research articles and journals. The previous case studies of the construction-based project will be referred to gain ideas about sustainable construction and complete the project of Sth Bnk on time. Communication is necessary as it helps in maintaining transparency and accountability with stakeholders. The online mode of communication is quick and that is the reason for choosing this mode of communication over physical meetings. It is time-consuming to meet physically every week; hence the physical meeting is scheduled once a month only. Monitoring of projects has to be done effectively by the project managers so that any issues faced while constructing the skyscrapers and other buildings can be immediately informed to the project owners. Such a strategy will help the project managers and employees to solve the issues in an efficient manner.
The success criteria for this construction project are to be analysed by considering different elements associated with the project (Frefer et al., 2018). The cost of the project was one aspect that is to be considered for measuring the success of the project (Amora and Juanzon, 2022). The total budget for the construction work is 2 billion. The cost of materials and other supportive accessories are to be enlisted here. Completion of the project within the cost is the primary criterion for measuring success (Gunduz and Yahya, 2018; Tam et al., 2020). The overall project is scheduled to be completed within 5 years. Maintaining the timeframe is essential here as a long period will result in an increment in the cost of the project. Thus, the predetermined profitability after selling the property cannot be maintained. Implementation of the safety measure is also important to consider here for measuring profitability (Kim et al., 2019; Karakhan and Gambatese, 2018). However, at least, the environmental aspects are also to be considered for having maximum control of sustainability (Wang et al., 2018; Thacker et al., 2019). The inclusion of software is also required for having control of the overall criteria. The inclusion of these elements has been essential to building proper communication in all different departments. Thus, any software supporting business information management is to be included
