MBA622 Comprehensive Healthcare Strategies
Students are to write a 1500-word strategic proposal for an executive team of the chosen organisation whereby you are attempting to convince that team of what you believe they should be doing over the next five years in an effort to be more successful.
Building on all of your learning in this subject, students are required to develop a 5-year strategic plan that could be used to resource and operationalise the activities of a privately or publicly owned healthcare enterprise of your choice. The intent is for students to demonstrate an understanding of all of the environmental factors influencing that organisation in its current and future competitive environment and formulate strategies that will ensure its ongoing success over the next five years. A useful starting point may be to evaluate the strategic successes and failures (if any) of that organisation over the past five years.
Individually, based on the work you have produced in the first and second assessment, you must develop comprehensive strategies for the organisation for the period 2022-2027 by presuming that you are presenting these key elements of the strategic plan to an executive panel within their chosen organisation, influencing strategic decision-making. You are required to develop a strategic plan that addresses the challenges and opportunities at a corporate and business level with a particular focus on strategies aligned with responding to the ongoing and future impacts of the current COVID19 crisis. In doing so, you must justify the strategy, using appropriate business examples and evaluating competitors’ approaches within the same segment. You will not be required to draft the strategic plan in full, as this assessment does not require functional-level implementation. Instead, you will need to develop key features of the proposal, including:
• A clear assessment of key strategic issues
• A proposal for an appropriate business model
• At least 5 strategic objectives/solutions in relation to the challenges and opportunities identified
• A vision statement
This study is based on the health care organization called Arcare Aged Care services. This company delivers to different regions such as New South Wales, Victoria, and Queensland. According to MBA Assignment Expert This study will evaluate the strategic issues faced by the company during the Covid 19 situation. There were several approaches adopted by the company during the covid 19 situation..
During the Covid 19 situation, ARcare Aged Care services have faced a lot of problems. Several strategic issues have occurred during this situation. ArCare Aged Care services have been a healthcare organization that faced several challenges and issues for their business practices. Availability of resources has been the biggest problem for this company during the pandemic situation. There were lockdowns across the whole world. The health care services also did not have proper resources(Tuite, Fisman & Greer 2020, p. E500). Financial crises have also been a major issue in the strategic business plan faced by ArCare Aged Care Services. Shortage of masks, PPE kits, gloves sanitizers also create a crisis within the business practices which also create ineffective business practices within the organization.
During the pandemic situation, the business is not able to provide proper guidelines to the healthcare professional and they also lack consistency in their work. ArCare Aged Care services have several problems in their delivery system that dirty hung the covid 19 situation (Arcare.com, 2022). “Publicly sustainable pharmaceutical pricing” has also been a major problem that has been faced by this company. As per the study of Kilbourne et al. (2018, p.35),shortage of transparency and shortage of the nursing and the physician have also been a problem in this company. Occupational stress also occurred during the covid 19 situation which creates several problems within the organization.
ArCare Aged Care services are a leading healthcare organization in Australia and there were several issues faced by the company during the Covid 19 situation. However, this company needs to adopt several approaches from the other companies in the same industry for better development of the company. As per the instruction of Halcomb et al. (2020, p.1555), there were several rival companies in Australia who were competitors of the ArCare company. ArCare services have adapted the alternative methods for the delivery of care from the TriCare services. The TriCare service Company is a competitor of ArCare services. Arcare services have adapted the approaches of telemedicine which was also obtained from TriCare Services. ArCare services have also obtained several approaches from Anglican Care services. It is also one of the best health care services in Australia (Arcare.com 2022).

Covid-19 is one of the life-threatening pathogens that change the dynamics of the healthcare sector around the world (Raghuvanshi& Raghuvanshi 2020, p.2405). Arcade aged care is one of the rebounded healthcare sectors which also faced severe issues in their healthcare operation (Baxter& Casady 2020, p. 5097). It has been observed that most of the human population is Kenner to the technologies and it is the reason, the technology model is one of the beneficial models that help the organization in their strategic process.
One of the biggest issues faced by the organization is most of their staff are off duty due to tested positive and it shows that training is needed for most of the staff because in absence of specific staff so that the function of the staff can be performed by another. As per the statement of Franic & Dodig (2020, p. 215),Social distancing is one of the prime barriers, for this reason, constructing an online platform for the patient in which they can make appointments. Segmentation of the patient's appointment by the use of the technology is beneficial for maintaining the social distancing and segmented appointment also crucial for giving quality care for the organization's patients.

Technology advancement and application should be adopted by every employee and staff in the organization because the impact of the Covid technology is the only way that can help to continue the business of Arcare Aged Care.
Providing sufficient amounts of technological training and knowledge for the organization's employees of staff should be implemented for overcoming the issues faced by the organization aftermath of the Covid-19.
Recruiting some employees and staff consisting of technological knowledge is needed for the organization to overcome the current pandemic situation.
Constructing management for the consumers is very crucial for the organization because a major portion of patients may not engage with social media so the organization should construct management to convey the issues of the patients.
Organisational theory will help this organisation to develop its organisational patter. Using this theory ArCare Aged Service can improve their entire business designs and behaviours for organisational structures. As per the statement of Watt et al.(2019, p. 265), it develops the pattern of observing patients and it also describes the different principals in order to fix the organisational structure.
Operational management theory will also help the ArCare Aged Services to track the day to day activity of the facility within the organisation. It also helps to evaluate the experiences of the customers in order to fulfil the organisational goals.
