Introduction
A research based annotated bibliography presented based on at least 10-12 research papers of interest to the research topic.
A bibliography is a list of citations to sources (books, articles, films, websites, etc.) that you’ve used when researching a topic. An annotated bibliography includes
a summary and evaluation of each source. These annotations are written in paragraph form and you are expected to include the following information:
1. An explanation of the main purpose of the research paper or academic source in relation to your research topic.
A short summary of key findings or arguments of the source.
The academic/intellectual credentials of the source. What type: e.g. peer-reviewed journal/ book chapter etc.
Short limitations of the research.
The value of bibliography as a contribution to your selected research topic.
To start with your assignment follow guidelines are provided. Your unit lecturer will be available for you to discuss further.
It is best to proceed with this task keeping below steps as a guide:
ï Research and review the list of topics that you would like to focus and select one or two you would like to research further. Always approach to your lecturer if you have doubts on selected topic.
ï Generate a list of direct sources relevant to your topic. VIT online library access provides you a wide variety of academic resource access. Library resources will get you develop a broader understanding of what academic information/sources is available on your topic.
ï You may have a long list of supporting references for your topic. Your requirement is to have 10-12 academic articles, all of which are directly relevant to your topic.
ï To help you select the references Scan through the articles you select and read the abstract thoroughly to find the most relevant and recent materials (Hint: preferably focus on the most recent articles, published in the last 5 to maximum 10 years). Reduce your list of references to 10-12 references. Always remember to select sources directly related with your topic.
ï Write up a summary of your references following above given 5 steps guide. This annotated bibliography is going to be stepping stone for your research project (Assignment 2).
ï Upload your annotated bibliography to the given link on Learning Management System (LMS) in week 4.

Companies are increasingly interested in learning how the presence of women directors on corporate boards (WDOCB) affects sustainability disclosure as demand increases from various stakeholders for WDOCB. As per the MBA Assignment Expert, The focus of this article is on the link between sustainability reporting and shareholder value creation when women boards are representative of both sexes. According to the findings, having women on the board of directors has a positive impact on the firm's risk and performance by encouraging the company to participate in productive social activities and report on them. Increases in risk-adjusted and buy-and-hold abnormal returns result from WDOCB's positive impact on the organisational performance connection and lower returns volatility and systematic risk for the company. This paper provides contribution to understanding the adequate role of women that are working on board and that are achieving sustainable performance of the business.

The article identified that Mothers Out Front (MOF) and women communities have governed intense role in transforming many infrastructures into sustainably functioning bodies which is accelerating the support to entire energy industry as well. The research is valuable because the strategies that women have applied in using the renewable sources of energy has been explained. Sustainable development with good functioning of company are two things managed by women leaders which is important for current analysis.

Article shows an adequate link between Women Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Development. There are challenges faced by women in terms of handling business but with technological development and knowledge in industry, actions are taken by women to take decisions about sustainability. It can be examined that women have very large population and through mathematical calculations it has been improvised that women leaders have better take on sustainable development in new business setting from large to small business organisations. The article is a type of peer reviewed research paper taken from google scholar. The limitation can be seen in limiting women’s role within the organisation which is only transformation based functioning. The research is valuable because the drivers, characteristics, and scope of women's entrepreneurial activities and results have changed as a result of technological advancements, increased social knowledge of these issues, empathy for gender equality, and expansion of institutional and regulatory policies for women in business.

Gender equality is the 5th sustainable goal functioning in the SDG functioning which is governed by UNO. The effectiveness in women’s function in order the manage the sustainable development has been functioned out in the article. 4IR review mentions that through gender equality digital functions and sustainable development became more easy as sense of acceptance towards change was governed in positive manner. The article is a type of research paper review from google scholar. Limitation of article is limiting the analysis to one country which is Africa. Overall, the article explains about 2030 goals and its achieving road map drafted by women leaders in the country. The research is valuable because effects of social networking, familial support, social dominance orientation, and access to capital on Omani women's intentions to become entrepreneurs as well as the mediating effect of entrepreneurial persistence is being highlighted.

According to the news article Indian women have 14% contribution in business in which sustainable practices percentage is higher than other men leading industries in the country. Empowering women to govern sustainable practices in order to empower earth is the topic of above article. The article by pwc explains that women have good population in employee’s section and empowering them towards sensitivity and sustainable development of any country or company. The empowering action through roles and responsibility and celebrity endorsements can govern every sector a new ray of sustainable practices. The article does have nay example or strategy that how and why women leaders must be selected which is biggest limitation to it. The article contributes to the fact that women dominate the production of basic crops in the developing countries and are crucial household managers. In such roles, women's potential environmental effect is increased when they have more access to education, more secure land titles, and possibilities to demand better wages.

The sustainable driven business perspective can be built up by women leaders through innovation and management in the given article. Environmental, social and governance sustainable aspects of women employees through perspective and thinking was analysed in the article in which the positive relationship of women with sustainable practices was governed due high emotional intelligence and empathic behaviours. The article is a type of secondary resource review from google scholar. However, the analysis of culture, diversity dimension and industrial norms were not governed study becoming its limitation.

It has been identified in the above European Investment Bank article that women in-charge have better perspective and roles contribution in sustainable climatic practices. The women leaders are more likely to lead invest in renewable energy and reduce greenhouse gases. Article explains that women driven business have flourished with more sustainable function then men based business because of the recycling thinking attitude. Correlating positive impacts in governance of net zero emission are led by women in major European cities as women investors strongly believe in supporting sustainable business models. The gender linking with investment perspective has been mentioned in the article but the why is women linked with sustainable practices is not mentioned in article which can be its major limitation. Overall, the article explains about Gender smart climate in financial world of Europe. Additionally, it can be concluded that women investors are more futuristic and intend to invest in places that have high scope.
