You still work in operations management of a business which manufactures casual wear in Malaysia for people working from home. This is primarily sold on line and direct to staff clubs who receive a discount for aggregating orders for members across Australia.

The Work from Home (WFH) situation has run longer than you expected, many people have negotiated a mix of one day a week in the office and three days a week at home and one day which could be either. So demand for your clothes is strong. Your boss senses that the colours and accessories like buttons and zips need a revamp and you agree so new stock has been ordered.

Your boss has seen your MBA5003 notes on a CMR. You have about seven lines of points recorded, you explain the logistics value of having a single picture of a customer where everyone in the business can share the information if they need to contact the customer.

He asks you to provide a list of the data items that you think are important for a CRM for your firm so he can consider this idea. You remind him that you will need to also add where you will secure these data items, you mention that customer age is valuable but customers are not always willing to answer this question so you need to find another way such as a discount club for frequent buyers where age is one of the questions.

Prepare a 100 to 150 word MBA level response of the useful customer data items in a CMR and how you can secure them, bullet points are fine.

This is the final Assignment One task.

Characteristics of Good Leaders and Good Decisions 

As per the MBA Assignment Experts Overview, Good leaders exhibit good self-awareness, display humility, stay more authentic and eventually become role models for others. Good leaders must be highly skilled, competent and considerate (Purwanto, 2020). Leaders use accurate, logical reasoning to analyze their potential actions' merits and demerits. Leaders must be self-aware of their decisions to enhance their overall decision-making skills. Leaders need to ensure that they make logical and rational decisions for all human beings,    

During my college times, I was the leader of my final year project. I used to listen to the opinions of my team members and then make decisions that were highly effective in completing the project within the due course of time. I displayed the role of self-awareness which motivated my team members to complete the project. 

Secure Customer Data Items in a CMR and security measures 

● CMR software contains information about customers, contacts and leads

● CMR is to be secured by properly installing and updating the leading "Data Protection Software". 

● The customer data must be encrypted to reduce the chance of cyber hacking, which causes the loss of information of customers and contacts (Yazdeen et al.,2021). 

● The passwords of the CMR software must be unique and robust, which will help keep customers' data more secure. 

● The PCI compliance needs to be verified. 

●  All customer files and information needs to be destroyed before dumping. 

● The hard copies of data need to be locked physically in a secure place.
