The business practices will be examined within the context of the decision making. Functional departments of the organization are identified within the context of the workplace.
The Smith family has a significant presence with 100 years of experience. The organization supports the children with their needs and requirements. The Smith family is considered to be an independent children's charity organization helping disadvantaged children (The Smith Family, 2022). The organization has grown to be a dynamic modern best organization in offering long term support to children in education and development (Krakouer, Wise & Connolly, 2018). Doug Taylor is the chief executive officer of the organization. The organization is more concerned with the protection of the children and the improvement of their lives. The organization has supported 179760 and offered potential support to the student community and there are 94% kids (The Smith Family, 2022).
The creation of financial stability lies at the centre of the research. The development of stable sourcing for funding enables to improve a better and positive outcome within the context of the workplace. It will enhance community satisfaction and improve the community's reliance on the organization.
The company has a board of directors that is considered to be the decision making body in the Smith family and is responsible for managing the overall governance. The responsibility of the board is to handle the comprehensive board charter.
The company is also managed by several committees of the corporate governance audit committee charter and the people and culture charter. Doug Taylor is the chief executive officer organization and supports 91 communities (Menzies, 2019). The company manages 1.2 million Australian children and young people suffering from poverty. The company has several departments that manage the sponsorship of media volunteers, officers and gifts.
The company has a potential and effective structure that divides every department. The effective management of resources is significantly managed essential services. A separate allocation of responsibility helps to achieve better and positive outcomes within the organizational context. The structural changes within the context of the management may have a significant impact on the organization's activity
Australian organizations are engaged in charity to the poor and needy children across Australia. The organization is functioning smoothly within the context of the workplace. The external environment plays a determining role in the management and control of the organization.
Political: The political structure of the country of Australia is found to be positive and effective within the context of the workplace . A stable political system allows for fast decision making and it also supports the organization in functioning. The decisions on subsidy and carbon emission cause hindrances.
Economics: Australia is a leading country and it has a positive GDP growth. The government and other organizations support the business in a significant and effective way (Krakouer, Wise & Connolly, 2018). The economic condition of the country is found to be positive with an annual charge of 3.9% . The potential growth in the economy supports the organization positively as the buyer has the strong spending power and consumer will buy the prouct.
Social: A large number of the population in Australia is in poverty. The size of the population is found to be 26 million. The country has a large number of indigenous communities and therefore poverty is growing over the period.
Technology: Australia is considered to be the best technology in the world and the incorporation of new technology has allowed the organization to have proper access to the population (Holzinger & Biddle, 2018). Local companies offer potential educational tools that support the poverty-stricken community.
Environmental: high carbon emission causes the development of law and it has a negative impact on the organization. Rural life has been affected as a result of a variety of challenges. The national security of Australia and lack of proper access to water affect the poor community. The organization is found to be offering support to the weaker community.
Legal: The organization manages its major part of the work with the effective use of the Fair work Act 2009 as the organization manages the large workforce. The cost of worker as per the minimum wages is high and it increases the company expenditure. The organization governs employment within the context of the workplace.
It can be said that the growing population enhances poverty and the lack of access to resources and education continue to challenge the organizational capability within the context of the workplace. The effectiveness of the organization is largely dependent on managing the economic factors. The decline of the economy may have a potential negative impact on the organization.
The company is more concerned with the protection of vulnerable children within the community. The major risk of the business is widely managed with the effective and efficient management of the resources within the organizational context. Financial risk is considered to be one of the major risks in the context of the organization (Dunstan et al., 2020). The organization required a regular source of funding from the independent business owner and the government organization. Covid- 19 has created a financial crisis as the sources of funding have been affected and it is difficult to manage the vulnerable family in critical situations.
The cost of the services is found to be high when it comes to the management of underprivileged children. It is difficult for the children to have a proper access to the education as a result of the high cost of the training to the educators (Slater et al., 2022). The lack of enough funds prevents the organization to reach to every consumer. The organization receives contradictory information from multiple sources and it hurts the organizational operation. The high cost of services offered today to children affects the funding of the organization. The absence of appropriate information is a major challenge to the organization.
Management of information and data regarding the poverty stricken-children within the context of the organization helps to improve the outcome (Bridgman, Cummings & Ballard, 2019). Information sharing and data management are major risks and challenges within the context of the workplace. The loss of children data and their parent may affect their perception and credibility on the organization.
It is very difficult for the organization to manage workforce capability within the context of the organization. There is a significant risk of high-level turnover of the employed people managing the children and disadvantaged community (Dunstan et al., 2020). They are an increasing burden on the organization when these working people are unemployed in the context of the organization.
The major risk of the organization is its financial instability and it will affect the continuity of the service to the children as it is an independent organization and requires appropriate funding sources with great stability to provide consistent support to the children affected community.
The absence of appropriate funding in the pandemic and post-pandemic era influenced the organization in a potentially effective way. The performance of the organization is widely affected as a result of the financial crisis caused by covid-19 (Pudelko & Tenzer, 2019). The management of the data of the children and the family is found to be one of the major risks as the proper data could hardly be obtained and it is difficult to manage the risk to the business within the context of the workplace. Unemployment is growing and it is also increasing the burden on the organization in managing the unemployed community. The increase in employment has been very disturbing to the organization.
The organization is consistently seeking feedback from the people and community on the national symbol for protecting Australia's children from 2009 to 2020 (Blackall et al., 2018). The feedback system is considered to be one of the most important practices that support the wider community.
It is a globally recognized National organization that is more concerned to offer significant support in the management of the services. It is an evidence-based organization that is engaged in the modern technique for managing the data and improving the long term support to the children. The need for development and improvement is strongly felt within the context of the workplace.
The organization has developed a potential child protection framework and also considered the use of the technique for managing the poverty cycle. The national education charity for disadvantaged Australian children is considered to be an important game of the organization (Holzinger & Biddle, 2018). The organization provides learning opportunities to the children and community within my context of the workplace. The effectiveness of the organization is largely dependent on the management of its services.
● General enquiries
● Sponsorship and Donations
● Financial department
● Human resource
● Volunteering
● Media
● Finance department
These functional departments of human resource and financial department play crucial role. The decision making with separate departmental control and activities simplifies the process (Menzies, 2019). The separate departments help to improve a better and effective outcome within the business. It is easier for the department head to make the appropriate decision in extreme circumstances and helps to resolve the issue in a better and more effective way.
It can be said that the organization is an independent organization within the context of Australia. The independent charitable organization has a potential structure to manage the sources of funding and support the business in a significant and effective way. The organization provides monthly donations to young people's families and educated children. It focuses on the management of partners and individuals.
